Walter Hollingworth, and Frank Hollingworth were both in the same battalion as their brother Thomas, the 1/4 Hallamshire, part of the York and Lancaster Regiment. Thomas survived the war but Walter and Frank died.

In 1934 the Sheffield Telegraph printed a Roll Of Honour on Remembrance Day, and Thomas wrote 'In loving memory of my two brothers, Walter and Frank Hollingworth, killed in action in 1915 and 1916. Memory Clings - Tom'.
