Regiment not known, but probably Royal Artillery by Cap Badge. He commented that he worked on Gun Carriages. After the war he emigrated to Canada. He was born in Kirk Street, Bolton in 1891 and married to Catherine O'Connor from Middlesborough. Before the war he served in the Territorials. He died in Ontario, Canada in October 1954 aged 63.
