1788: Thomas Robert Saul (medals; compass)

Thomas Robert Saul enlisted in the Duke of Lancaster's Own Yeomanry in 1915. He was sent to France on the 29th September 1916. On returning from France on the 17th October 1917 he was an NCO and transferred to the 7th Bt Border Regiment and was again despatched to France where he was gassed twice. He was discharged from the Army on the 11th December 1920 and he died on 2nd August 1932 as a result of being gassed during the war.
