1678: George Arthur Mitchell and Harry Thompson (trench art)

The shell was originally brought back from France by George Arthur Mitchell and then given to his son-in-law Harry Thompson, who then fashioned it into a cribbage board scorer at the base of the item. He also added a small statue of a monk on the top.
