Frank Dunmore, the contributor's grandfather, served in Field Service 354 Field Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery between 17th January 1917 and 3rd January 1919. The contributor believes that Frank Dunmore joined the Army in 1914, but this record only covers the period from January 1917. Frank Dunmore's brother was killed at the age of 17 during the war.
