<p dir="ltr">Charles is not a relative of A Farrant but he is the relative of Richard James East who owns the two medals: VRL medal Kabul to Kandahar 1880, inscribed on the back: 1915 Private Artr Farrant 2/60 Foot. It is not known why this inscription would be on the back of this medal. Afghanistan Medal 1878-79-80 with bars Kandahar & Ahmed Khel.</p>
