David Hawkings (contributor) was passed a collection of photographs from Frederick J. Judd (his auntie's first husband (Mother's sister). These photographs were of the Conference of Versailles, at the end of World War One. David mentioned to a friend who worked at the Public Record Office that he had these photographs in his possession. The photographs were included in an exhibition held by the Public Record Office. After the exhibition David was contacted by the House of Lords and invited to a reception at the House of Lords on 25th June 1999.
