<p dir="ltr">John is the grandson of Harold, sometimes known as McCormack. </p> <p>Harold was born in Clitheroe, Lancashire in 1884 to Richard & Ellen Cormick a Weaver. In 1911 Harold was living at his aunts with his wife Nellie who he had married in 1906. He was Bootmaker at this time.</p> <p>The family do not know what regiment Harold was in, possibly 530 Durham Aux. Res Field Reg. His service number was 471712</p> <p>During the depression Harold was an Insurance Assessor.</p> <p>The photograph is of Harold in his uniform.</p> <p>Harold died in 1937 still living in Clitheroe, Lancashire. He is interred at St Mary's church, Clitheroe.</p>
