The letters discusses Katharine's pregnancy with Francis Hyde Villiers and her desire to name the baby�if it were to be a girl�after her recently deceased daughter, Florence. In the latter part of the letter Katherine also discusses her views on recent pressures placed upon the Foreign Office by the Prince Consort.
