This finite element model simulates the transient thermal behavior of the oral cavity under varying external conditions, with the goal of investigating how extreme environments impact oral temperature measurements. Developed using COMSOL Multiphysics, the model analyzes heat transfer dynamics during the intake of cold liquids, temperature recovery, and prolonged exposure to cold air inhalation. It specifically examines the effects on various oral tissues, including the teeth, tongue, and mucosa.
