Photograph: Cairo. The corridor with carved wooden doors and screens or grills (mashrabiyas), in the Islamic Art Museum. The middle door comes from the Fatimid palaces (11th-12th centuries AD) and was found in the madrasa of Sultan al-Mansur Qalawun.
