Mouth of the Kladhos Gorge. The high mountains have eroded, producing vast quantities of gravel. The most recent deposit, truncated by the sea, forms a loose gravel cliff some 40 m high at the mouth of the gorge. Behind and above are older deposits, now cemented into hard rock, which form a succession of cliffs and breakaways. Looking NW. August 1995.
