Leon Fleischman

American literary agent in Paris for Boni and Liveright. Fleischman met Joyce in Paris in late 1921; they corresponded sporadically for several years as Fleischman tried to interest Joyce in publishing Ulysses in the United States, but to no avail. He was married to Helen Kastor (who later married Giorgio Joyce) from 1915 to 1928 and was the father of David Fleischman. William Brockman
