Jack Kahane

Publisher, born in England, but made his name in Paris. With Henri Babou, he published JJ's Haveth Childers Everywhere (1930), distributed in the United States by Elbridge Adams's Fountain Press. The following year Kahane established the Obelisk Press, which in 1932 published a limited edition of Pomes Penyeach decorated with initial letters designed by Lucia Joyce. The Obelisk Press became widely known for its avant-garde list. William Brockman
