Indonesian Translation of the Enggano-German Dictionary (Kähler 1987)

<p dir="ltr">This archived repository captures the completed stage of the manual checking of the Indonesian translation of the English translation derived from the German gloss of the Enggano-German Dictionary (Kähler 1987). The Indonesian translation was initially produced using the <code>deeplr</code> R package (Zumbach & Bauer <a href="https://cran.r-project.org/package=deeplr" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">2023</a>) from the English translation. Changes in the manual checking are tracked via git in this repository.</p><p dir="ltr">This translation work is part of<i></i> and integrated into the <a href="https://portal.sds.ox.ac.uk/projects/Retro-digitisation_of_the_Enggano-German_Dictionary/159842" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">retro-digitisation of the Enggano-German dictionary</a> (Rajeg <i>et al.</i> <a href="https://doi.org/10.25446/oxford.28057742.v1" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">2024</a>) funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) (<a href="https://gtr.ukri.org/projects?ref=AH/W007290/1" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">AH/W007290/1</a>) for the research titled <i>Lexical resources for Enggano, a threatened language of Indonesia</i>.</p>
