The program was launched by the Ministry of Education and  Culture (MoEC) and the National Team for the Acceleration of Poverty  Reduction (TNP2K) and was developed in collaboration with the World Bank  with a total budget of US$6,335,000. The program aims to increase the  presence and service quality of primary school teachers in remote areas  in Indonesia. Since 2016, the program targets 270 primary schools spread  in 235 remote villages in 5 districts.
